 INDIAN AUTHORITIES RELEASES THE TERROR AUDIO CLIPS FROM THE MUMBAI ATTACK India on Friday revealed in detail  Pakistan's  role in the 26/11 MUMBAI  Terror attacks India played the audio tape of Pakistan-Based terrorist Sajid Mir at the UN-counter Terror meets in Mumbai. In the audio clip, He is heard directing the attack on the Chabad house during the 26/11 carnage. The clip was played by a senior intelligence Bureau Officer, Pankaj Thakur at the Taj Mahal Palace. In the clip, Sajid Mir is heard passing instructions to terrorists from his Muzaffarabad hideout. The revelation was made in the presence of foreign ministers and diplomats from over 15 countries. Notably, the US also wants Sajid Mir, one of India's most wanted terrorists. Mir served as the chief planner of the attacks, directing preparations and reconnaissance. Pakistan recently claimed that Sajid Mir has been arrested and convicted for Terror financing.

 PAK RANGERS OPEN FIRE AGAINST BSF TROOPS IN ARNIA SECTOR Pak Rangers violates the ceasefire along the International border by firing at BSF troops in Jammu and Kashmir. BSF said that Pak Rangers resorted to 'Unprovoked firing' in the Arnia sector of Jammu today morning. BSF said that the Pakistani Rangers fired at a unit of their troops near the International border. No injuries were reported in the Pakistani firing and BSF responded in a 'Befitting' manner. BSF: Alert troops gave a befitting reply to the unprovoked firing by Pak Rangers in the Arnia sector. No loss or injury to the border security force troops and an officer says this incident was a major incident in recent months. The ceasefire violation by Pakistani coincides with the Indian visit of Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina.  INDIAN DIPLOMAT TEARS CHINA OVER THE LAC STANDOFF India took a tactic swipe at China at the UNSC over several issues. India slammed China over "Double standards" in fighting terrorism and unilateral action aimed at changing the status by force and respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of states  Though India's envoy to the UN, Ruchira Kamboj, didn't name any country while participating in the meeting of the UN security council and it was apparent, which country the remarks by the Indian representative were referring to. India, without naming China, Slammed Beijing for the Lac standoff in Ladakh. The Indian side has repeatedly accused China of violating the agreement and protocol on border management by amassing troops along the Lac since early 2020. The standoff has taken bilateral relations to an all-time low in the Decade. India also slammed China for blocking its bid to designate Pak-Based terrorists.

 MILITANTS ATTACK ASSAM RIFLES JAWAN FROM MYANMAR BORDER  Indian troops of Assam rifles were attacked by militants from across the India-Myanmar border in Arunachal Pradesh. An army spokesperson said that an Assam rifles officer was injured in the firing by the militants. The incident took place around 3.15 am at pangsau pass post near the international border According to the army, the insurgents fired on a patrolling team of Assam Rifles near the IB. Changlang Sp told that the suspected member of ULFA(1) and NSCN(K-Ya) were involved in the firing. The militants fired from the Myanmar territory across the border pillar 173. Recently, the ULFA(1) and NSCN(K-Ya) jointly issued a boycott call for the independence day celebrations

WHY IS UNITED STATES WORRIED ABOUT APACHE HELICOPTERS According to lawmakers, the US. army lacks a plan to modernize Apache AH-64 attack helicopters. The apache will continue to serve as the US army's principal attack helicopter until 2050 and beyond the US. house armed service panel commented:'No comprehensive, budgeted plan to modernize apache over the next 30 years '.  The U.S army has executed Apache modernization through remanufacturing of the aircraft every 12-15 years. The US. Army Secretary shall brief the panel on a plan to ensure apache's relevancy for the remainder of their service life. Apache AH-64 customers include INDIA, ISRAEL, UK, JAPAN, NETHERLANDS, GREECE, UAE, AND others.

 New Army Chief Gen Manoj Pande takes charge General Manoj Pande is the 29th  chief of the Indian Army staff. GEN. Pande takes over the baton from outgoing chief Naravane. General Naravane retired after a service of 4 decades. Outgoing Army chief GEN Naravane called on President Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Defence Minister also met with him. Prior to his relinquishing his duties, he received a guard of honor at the south block. GEN also laid a wreath at the national war memory in the national capital. Gen Naravane helmed the army during the almost 2year long India-China standoff at the LAC The new army chief Manoj Pand, who comes from CORPS of engineering has his task cut out, From resolving border rows to threaterisation  to the indigenization of Army hardware General Pande takes over as chief at a time when the LAC standoff in the eastern Ladakhis set to enter its third year. Gen Pande was commissioned to the CORPS of engineers in December 1986.

 INDIAS FIREPOWER GET BOOSTED UP IAF, NAVY TESTED TWO BRAHMOS MISSILE IN A SINGLE DAY Brahmos supersonic missile fired from the guided-missile destroyer. Navy test-fires Brahmos anti-ship variant successfully. India successfully test-fired a Brahmos supersonic cruise missile from the guided-missile destroyer  INS-Delhi. Indian Navy confirmed the launch, saying that ' successfully maiden Brahmos firing by INS Delhi. An upgraded modular once again demonstrated long range capacity of Brahmos along with the validation of integrated network centric operation from frontline platform' Test came on the same day IAF test-fired a brahmos missile from a Sukhoi fighter jet on the eastern seaboard.  POWER OF BRAHMOS SUPERSONIC MISSILE  Brahmos supersonic missile created a hole in the Indian Navy's abanded ship. Day after India test-fired the supersonic missile from its Sukhoi-30MKI jet. Brahmos official said that missile (without a warhead) created a hole in the ship. Officials added that the missile was travelling at a speed of 3000km/hr Offcials says that the missile is difficult to intercept ny an air defence system. The Indian Air Force claimed that the missile hit the target with accuracy and precision. IAF said that the ship sank after the missile with the warhead hit directly. The live firing of the missile was carried out in close coordination with the navy on Tuesday. Upgraded modular launcher onboard INS Delhi was used  to test the anti-ship variant of the missile  In 2016, Govt decides to integrate Air-Launched variant of brahmos into 40 sukhoi fighter jet.  INDIA LAUNCHED AN UPGRADED SYSTEM OF PINAKA AIR DEFENCE  The new version of the pinaka rocket system was successfully flight-tested by the DRDO and the Indian Army. The test was conducted at the Pokhran firing range in which as many as 24 Pinaka-mk1(enhanced) Rocket System (EPRS) were fired from different ranges during the last fortnight  and the weapon meets the required accuracy and consistency  EPRS is the upgraded version of the Pinaka variant that has been in service with the Indian army for the last decade. The rocket system has been upgraded with advanced technologies enhancing its range.
