INDIA'S NEW WARSHIPS SURAT AND UDAYAGIRI

Rajnath Singh defense minister of India launched these two frontline warships of the Indian navy. These warships were launched at Mazagon Dock Limited Mumbai. Both the warships are made in India and its a massive boost for the 'aathmanirbhata' for defense
Surat is the 4th Guided-missile destroyer of the P15B class and Udayagiri is the second stealth frigate of the P17 A class. This is the first time two indigenous warships were launched simultaneously
Rajnath Singh described the warships as an embodiment of the government's unwavering commitment to enhancing the country's maritime capabilities while focusing on 'aathmanirbharata'.He said the two warships will add might to the arsenal of the Indian navy and represent India's strategic strength as well as the power of self-reliance, before the world.
