 INDIAN AUTHORITIES RELEASES THE TERROR AUDIO CLIPS FROM THE MUMBAI ATTACK India on Friday revealed in detail  Pakistan's  role in the 26/11 MUMBAI  Terror attacks India played the audio tape of Pakistan-Based terrorist Sajid Mir at the UN-counter Terror meets in Mumbai. In the audio clip, He is heard directing the attack on the Chabad house during the 26/11 carnage. The clip was played by a senior intelligence Bureau Officer, Pankaj Thakur at the Taj Mahal Palace. In the clip, Sajid Mir is heard passing instructions to terrorists from his Muzaffarabad hideout. The revelation was made in the presence of foreign ministers and diplomats from over 15 countries. Notably, the US also wants Sajid Mir, one of India's most wanted terrorists. Mir served as the chief planner of the attacks, directing preparations and reconnaissance. Pakistan recently claimed that Sajid Mir has been arrested and convicted for Terror financing.  

 'ONUS ON PAK' INDIA UNHAPPY WITH PAKISTAN PM STATEMENT ON TRADE WITH KASHMIR  Pakistan unilaterally snapped commercial ties with India in 2019 after the takedown of article 370 by the Indian government, India cleared that till now there is no extension on assistance to flood-affected Pakistan and India will consider requests from international agencies about shipping aid via Indian territory. The issues of both trade and humanitarian assistance have been in focus since the Pak finance minister earlier this week said Pak can consider importing vegetable and food items from India to cope with shortage due to floods, which have killed more than 1,000 people and affected 33 million.  INDIA TO DISPATCH AID TO PAKISTAN? MEA CLEARS... Ministry of external affairs has cleared the air over reports of sending flood relief to Pak. MEA's clarification on PAK relief suggests that no such proposal, as of now, is with the government.MEA  reiterated PM Narendra Modi's message of condolence to the flood-affected areas in Pakistan. The MEA clarification came in response to the reports that suggested that India may send aid to Pakistan.  The MEA refused to comment on PAK PM's statement wherein he linked trade with India to Kashmir. More than 1,000 people died in Pakistan as Flood ravaged the country's four provinces. The natural calamity affected over 33 million and caused a severe food shortage. On Monday, PM Modi expressed solidarity with the flood-affected people of Pakistan. On Wednesday, PAK pm SHAHBAZ SHERIF thanked PM Modi for consoling the death caused by floods in Pakistan.

 PAKISTAN PM SHARIF RAISES FOR PERMANENT PEACE WITH INDIA  Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif called for permanent peace with India he added war is not an option for India or Pakistan. He made these remarks during an interaction section with the students of Harvard University, During this interaction, Sharif reiterated Pakistan's resolve to maintain peace in the region  India-Pak ties worsened After the Modi government take out article 370 in august 2019 which gave the region of Jammu and Kashmir a special power and status. Both the countries downgraded their diplomatic ties and suspended bilateral trade. India has repeatedly asked Pak to stop Cross-Border terrorism for talk to resume

 MILITANTS ATTACK ASSAM RIFLES JAWAN FROM MYANMAR BORDER  Indian troops of Assam rifles were attacked by militants from across the India-Myanmar border in Arunachal Pradesh. An army spokesperson said that an Assam rifles officer was injured in the firing by the militants. The incident took place around 3.15 am at pangsau pass post near the international border According to the army, the insurgents fired on a patrolling team of Assam Rifles near the IB. Changlang Sp told that the suspected member of ULFA(1) and NSCN(K-Ya) were involved in the firing. The militants fired from the Myanmar territory across the border pillar 173. Recently, the ULFA(1) and NSCN(K-Ya) jointly issued a boycott call for the independence day celebrations

 SRILANKA HEAPS PRAISE TO MODI GOVERNMENT AGAIN Cash-trapped Srilanka has once again praised 'friend'  India for its support. Srilankan Energy minister Kanchana Wijesekere said that only India has provided credit to tackle the fuel and food shortage. Since the crisis began, India had provided Sri Lanka with a $3.8 billion credit line. Srilanka on Saturday announced a 'National fuel ration' scheme amid the fuel shortage. This means a guaranteed all locations of fuel quota on a weekly basis will be distributed. Amid unpredictable crisis, acting president Wickremesinghe has announced a slew of measures.

 INDIA'S DEFENCE EXPORT HIT A MARK OF Rs 13000 Cr The U.S becomes India's main defense customer. India recorded the highest-ever defense export at  Rs 1300cr in 2021-22. As per the defense ministry, the figure is about 8 times what it was about 5 years ago. 70% contribution was from the private sector while the public sector account for the rest of the 30%. Earlier the private sector accounted for more than 90% of the contribution now the public sector had grown  Sanjay Jaju says that most of the export is sent to The U.S, other than united states south-Asian, west Asia, and Africa is the other region that imported Indian defense goods 

WHY IS UNITED STATES WORRIED ABOUT APACHE HELICOPTERS According to lawmakers, the US. army lacks a plan to modernize Apache AH-64 attack helicopters. The apache will continue to serve as the US army's principal attack helicopter until 2050 and beyond the US. house armed service panel commented:'No comprehensive, budgeted plan to modernize apache over the next 30 years '.  The U.S army has executed Apache modernization through remanufacturing of the aircraft every 12-15 years. The US. Army Secretary shall brief the panel on a plan to ensure apache's relevancy for the remainder of their service life. Apache AH-64 customers include INDIA, ISRAEL, UK, JAPAN, NETHERLANDS, GREECE, UAE, AND others.

 NEW 300 AIRCRAFT FOR AIR INDIA  Tata the owner of AirIndia decided to buy 300 narrow-body Aircraft. These include Boeing 787 MAX and Airbus a320neo. They would attain these numbers by 2026  Currently, Air India Operates 127 fights to 102 destinations all over the world. As of now, Airbus produces 50 flights per month. This contract will be the largest contract given by an Indian Airlines company to extend their fleet. AIR India had been given to TATA after the privatization launched in 2017 and the property is handed over in 2022.
