 INDIA'S DEFENCE EXPORT HIT A MARK OF Rs 13000 Cr

The U.S becomes India's main defense customer. India recorded the highest-ever defense export at  Rs 1300cr in 2021-22. As per the defense ministry, the figure is about 8 times what it was about 5 years ago.

70% contribution was from the private sector while the public sector account for the rest of the 30%. Earlier the private sector accounted for more than 90% of the contribution now the public sector had grown 

Sanjay Jaju says that most of the export is sent to The U.S, other than united states south-Asian, west Asia, and Africa is the other region that imported Indian defense goods
