 INDIAN AUTHORITIES RELEASES THE TERROR AUDIO CLIPS FROM THE MUMBAI ATTACK India on Friday revealed in detail  Pakistan's  role in the 26/11 MUMBAI  Terror attacks India played the audio tape of Pakistan-Based terrorist Sajid Mir at the UN-counter Terror meets in Mumbai. In the audio clip, He is heard directing the attack on the Chabad house during the 26/11 carnage. The clip was played by a senior intelligence Bureau Officer, Pankaj Thakur at the Taj Mahal Palace. In the clip, Sajid Mir is heard passing instructions to terrorists from his Muzaffarabad hideout. The revelation was made in the presence of foreign ministers and diplomats from over 15 countries. Notably, the US also wants Sajid Mir, one of India's most wanted terrorists. Mir served as the chief planner of the attacks, directing preparations and reconnaissance. Pakistan recently claimed that Sajid Mir has been arrested and convicted for Terror financing.  

BRAHMOS BOOST FOR INDIAN NAVY

 Rs 1700CR DEAL FOR BRAHMOS FOR INDIAN NAVY  Defense ministry signs Rs 1700-cr contract with Brahmos aerospace PVT LTD. The deal has been signed to buy additional duel-role capable missiles for the Navy. A move that will provide impetus to 'AATMANORBHARATA' in defense production. The induction of Brahmos missiles will significantly enhance the operational capability of Indian Navy fleet assets. Brahmos variants can be launched from Land, Air, and sea all three variants of Brahmos are in service in the Indian Armed Forces. In May, India fired an extended range variant of Brahmos from Sukhoi-30 with the weapon achieving a direct hit on the designated target in the bay of Bengal. The Brahmos missile, an Indo-Russian joint venture, has a range of 290 km. It is the fastest cruise missile in the world with a top speed of Mach 2.8.  PAK RANGERS OPEN FIRE AGAINST BSF TROOPS IN ARNIA SECTOR Pak Rangers violates the ceasefire along the International border by firing at BSF troops in Jammu and Kashmir. BSF said that Pak Rangers resorted to 'Unprovoked firing' in the Arnia sector of Jammu today morning. BSF said that the Pakistani Rangers fired at a unit of their troops near the International border. No injuries were reported in the Pakistani firing and BSF responded in a 'Befitting' manner. BSF: Alert troops gave a befitting reply to the unprovoked firing by Pak Rangers in the Arnia sector. No loss or injury to the border security force troops and an officer says this incident was a major incident in recent months. INDIA SURPASSES UK TO BECOME WORLD'S 5TH LARGEST ECONOMY

INDIA IS NOW THE WORLD'S LARGEST 5TH ECONOMY Huge blow for Britain as it falls behind India to become the world's 6th largest economy. India emerges as the world's 5th largest economy-forecast to grow at 7% this year. Indian economy toppled the UK from its position in the last 3 months of 2021. Indian economy performs better despite pandemic recovery and fear of a global slowdown. Bloomberg: the size of the Indian economy in 'Nominal' cash terms in the quarter through march stood at $854.7 MN, while the UK was at 819 MN. The IMF too had projected that India will overtake the UK this year as it is struggling with high energy prices and rising consumer inflation.  Just a decade ago, The Asian powerhouse was at the 11th position, Uk was at the 5th spot. This comes just days after Moody's projected 7.7% India growth rate for 2022. At 13.5%, India's GDP grew at its fastest in a year in the April-June quarter.

 INDIA TO DISPATCH AID TO PAKISTAN? MEA CLEARS... Ministry of external affairs has cleared the air over reports of sending flood relief to Pak. MEA's clarification on PAK relief suggests that no such proposal, as of now, is with the government.MEA  reiterated PM Narendra Modi's message of condolence to the flood-affected areas in Pakistan. The MEA clarification came in response to the reports that suggested that India may send aid to Pakistan.  The MEA refused to comment on PAK PM's statement wherein he linked trade with India to Kashmir. More than 1,000 people died in Pakistan as Flood ravaged the country's four provinces. The natural calamity affected over 33 million and caused a severe food shortage. INDIA- RUSSIA MILITARY DRILLS MAKES THE U.S ANXIOUS The U.S has expressed concern about India's participation in Russian military drills. The White House press secretary, when asked about India's involvement in Vostok 2022 said that The U.S is concerned as the military drill in Russia comes amidst the Ukraine war. India will take part in the multi-nation military drills hosted by Russia but will stay away from its maritime component to avoid hurting the sensitivity of Japan. The warships of Russian Navy's Pacific Fleet and Chinese Navy will take part in the drill in the sea of OKHOTSK and the sea of Japan as part of the VOSTOK 2022. India, However will not attend the sea drills, which triggered protest from Japan. VOSTOK drill in Russia from September 1-7 is being closely tracked globally. PAKISTAN SEEMS INDIAN ARMS ACQISITION IS A THREAT

 PAK RATTLED BY INDIA DEPLOYING RUSSIAN S-400 DEFENSE SYSTEM  Pakistan has hit out at India as it began deploying the Russian S-400 defense system in Punjab. Pakistan claimed that India was threatening peace in the region and creating an imbalance. The Indian air force has deployed its first batch of s-400 Russian missile defense systems in Adampur and Halwara air base in Punjab, about 90-100 KM close to the Pakistan border. India-Pakistan ties got loosened after the abrogation of article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir in 2019, India's decision evoked a strong reaction from Pakistan which downgraded the diplomatic ties between the two nations. India has previously emphasized that rules related to Jammu and Kashmir are their internal affairs.

India, without naming China, Slammed Beijing for the Lac standoff in Ladakh. The Indian side has repeatedly accused China of violating the agreement and protocol on border management by amassing troops along the Lac since early 2020. The standoff has taken bilateral relations to an all-time low in the Decade. India also slammed China for blocking its bid to designate Pak-Based terrorists.

Chinese spy ship Yuan Wang 5 docked at Hambantota port on Tuesday after the diplomatic slowdown The new Srilankan government gave permission to the Chinese spy ship despite the security concern from the U.S and India. As per the Lankan foreign ministry, Yuan Wang 5 was allowed to Dock at Hambantota port after India and the US did not provide any practical reason to reject the entry for the ship. Srilanka has assured India that it won't allow misuse of its Hambantota port by China. The port was taken over by the Chinese government by using the Dept swap for a 99-year lease

An army spokesperson said that an Assam rifles officer was injured in the firing by the militants. The incident took place around 3.15 am at pangsau pass post near the international border According to the army, the insurgents fired on a patrolling team of Assam Rifles near the IB. Changlang Sp told that the suspected member of ULFA(1) and NSCN(K-Ya) were involved in the firing. The militants fired from the Myanmar territory across the border pillar 173. RUSSIA DESTROYED UKRAINE'S ARM DEPT AND SHOWS OFF "TROPHIES" Russian troops captured the U.S and other foreign-made weapons in the Donetsk region after the intense fight. Russia claimed to destroy a large number of foreign weapon supplies to Ukraine while capturing some parts of the Donetsk region. The Russian defense ministry has termed these destroyed weapons as 'TROPHIES'.Most of the captured weapons are of foreign origin.  Captured weapons include JAvelin, Karl Gustav rocket system as well as machine guns and small arms of soviet origin abandoned by the Ukrainian troops. Footage of weapons seized by the Russian troops was released by its defense ministry. Currently, There is an intense fight going on in the Donetsk region which is under Russian control and Ukraine is fighting hard to take it back. Russia is using multiple rocket launching systems on Ukraine troops to defend its positions.  

PAKISTAN CAN'T AFFORD THE DISCOUNTED WHEAT FROM RUSSIA

 PAKISTAN IN DWINDLING FOREX RESERVE Amid the political and economical instability, debt-laden Pakistan battling a wheat crisis. Russia's final offer for Pak-120000 metric tons of wheat at a price of $399.50 can't be afforded by Pakistan and they want to be reduced by 2.4%. The call to snub Russian wheat was taken at the economic coordination committee meeting. Pak has around 7.7MN metric tons of wheat which will be equal for just 168days of consumption.  However, Pakistan lost the deal as the acceptance deadline was Friday at 6pm Moscow time. Sharif's government has already decided to reduce the wheat strategic reserve requirements. Pak economy is in dire straits, Sharif government is facing a balance of payment crisis. The Pakistan rupee had fallen about 30% against the US dollar in the past years

Srilankan Energy minister Kanchana Wijesekere said that only India has provided credit to tackle the fuel and food shortage. As per the defense ministry, the figure is about 8 times what it was about 5 years ago. 70% contribution was from the private sector while the public sector account for the rest of the 30%. NEW AIRCRAFTS FOR AIR INDIA

 NEW 300 AIRCRAFT FOR AIR INDIA  Tata the owner of AirIndia decided to buy 300 narrow-body Aircraft. These include Boeing 787 MAX and Airbus a320neo. They would attain these numbers by 2026  Currently, Air India Operates 127 fights to 102 destinations all over the world. As of now, Airbus produces 50 flights per month. This contract will be the largest contract given by an Indian Airlines company to extend their fleet. AIR India had been given to TATA after the privatization launched in 2017 and the property is handed over in 2022.
