 INDIA LAUNCHED AN UPGRADED SYSTEM OF PINAKA AIR DEFENCE  The new version of the pinaka rocket system was successfully flight-tested by the DRDO and the Indian Army. The test was conducted at the Pokhran firing range in which as many as 24 Pinaka-mk1(enhanced) Rocket System (EPRS) were fired from different ranges during the last fortnight  and the weapon meets the required accuracy and consistency  EPRS is the upgraded version of the Pinaka variant that has been in service with the Indian army for the last decade.
