WHY IS UNITED STATES WORRIED ABOUT APACHE HELICOPTERS
According to lawmakers, the US. army lacks a plan to modernize Apache AH-64 attack helicopters. The apache will continue to serve as the US army's principal attack helicopter until 2050 and beyond the US. house armed service panel commented:'No comprehensive, budgeted plan to modernize apache over the next 30 years '.
The U.S army has executed Apache modernization through remanufacturing of the aircraft every 12-15 years. The US. Army Secretary shall brief the panel on a plan to ensure apache's relevancy for the remainder of their service life. Apache AH-64 customers include INDIA, ISRAEL, UK, JAPAN, NETHERLANDS, GREECE, UAE, AND others.
