 POWER OF BRAHMOS SUPERSONIC MISSILE 

Brahmos supersonic missile created a hole in the Indian Navy's abanded ship. Day after India test-fired the supersonic missile from its Sukhoi-30MKI jet. Brahmos official said that missile (without a warhead) created a hole in the ship. Officials added that the missile was travelling at a speed of 3000km/hr

Offcials says that the missile is difficult to intercept ny an air defence system. The Indian Air Force claimed that the missile hit the target with accuracy and precision. IAF said that the ship sank after the missile with the warhead hit directly. The live firing of the missile was carried out in close coordination with the navy on Tuesday. Upgraded modular launcher onboard INS Delhi was used  to test the anti-ship variant of the missile 

In 2016, Govt decides to integrate Air-Launched variant of brahmos into 40 sukhoi fighter jet. On march 5, advanced version of Brahmos was tested from stealth destroyer INS Chennai

 THIN LAYER CHROMATOGRAPHY It is a chromatographic separation method used to separate mixtures, to check the purity of a mixture, and to monitor the progress of the reaction. Procedure A glass plate coated with a material of the adsorbent will constitute the stationary phase. The material is made into a slurry or a paste and the glass plate is coated with it by a thin layer applicator and dried. This glass plate with a thin layer of stationary phase is called chromatoplate. The mixture to be separated is applied to one end of the plate and it is placed in the solvent. When the solvent reaches near the top, it is removed and dried. If the components are colored the spots can be readily located.
