TAIWAN DEPLOYS 'HUNTER WAPONS' TO KEEP CHINA DRONES AWAY AMID CONFLICT
TAIWAN PUT AN END TO THE DRONE THREAT BY CHINA
Taiwan has armed its soldiers with anti-drone guns amid the rising Chinese drone threat. Taiwan's defense ministry shared footage that showed its troops in action demonstrating drone interception in restricted zones on the frontline. Taiwan has issued these weapons to soldiers stationed at Kinmen and Matsu islands. Anti-Drone guns can disrupt the frequency of drones causing them to lose control and crash.
Kinmen and Matsu Islands are a few kilometers away from the Chinese coast and have recently witnessed a spate of unidentified drone activities. Taipei's move comes days after Taiwanese soldiers downed an unidentified drone in Kinmen. Taiwan sees increasing Chinese drone activity as another bid to 'provocate'
