INDIA-RUSSIA MILITARY DRILLS AMID UKRAINE WAR

INDIA- RUSSIA MILITARY DRILLS MAKES THE U.S ANXIOUS The U.S has expressed concern about India's participation in Russian military drills. The White House press secretary, when asked about India's involvement in Vostok 2022 said that The U.S is concerned as the military drill in Russia comes amidst the Ukraine war. India will take part in the multi-nation military drills hosted by Russia but will stay away from its maritime component to avoid hurting the sensitivity of Japan. The warships of Russian Navy's Pacific Fleet and Chinese Navy will take part in the drill in the sea of OKHOTSK and the sea of Japan as part of the VOSTOK 2022. India, However will not attend the sea drills, which triggered protest from Japan. VOSTOK drill in Russia from September 1-7 is being closely tracked globally. Russia has stated that the drills are to maintain Military Security in the eastern region. This will be the first major such drill to take placer after Russia invaded Ukraine. The VOSTOK

 RUSSIA STRIKES UKRAINE MILITARY TARGETS WITH HURRICANE ROCKET SYSTEM  Russia completed six-long months of invasion in Ukraine, and the Russian defense ministry has made public, The footage of nighttime OPS by Uragan MLRS popularly known as the hurricane system. In the clip, Several missiles can be seen fired from the missile systems. In the later part of the clip, The launchers can be seen carrying missiles. Uragan is a self-propelled 220mm multiple rocket launcher designed in the soviet union. The system was the soviet union's 1st modern spin and fin-stabilized heavy multiple rocket launcher. On Sunday, Russian missiles destroyed residential structures in Bashtanka, Mykolaiv Oblast  Russian Defense Ministry: Armed forces destroy a munition depot in Odessa that contained missiles for  HIMARS from the United States. Reportedly, Russian armed troops had used Kalibr Cruise Missiles to demolish the site 

PAKISTAN SEEMS INDIAN ARMS ACQISITION IS A THREAT

 PAK RATTLED BY INDIA DEPLOYING RUSSIAN S-400 DEFENSE SYSTEM  Pakistan has hit out at India as it began deploying the Russian S-400 defense system in Punjab. Pakistan claimed that India was threatening peace in the region and creating an imbalance. The Indian air force has deployed its first batch of s-400 Russian missile defense systems in Adampur and Halwara air base in Punjab, about 90-100 KM close to the Pakistan border. India-Pakistan ties got loosened after the abrogation of article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir in 2019, India's decision evoked a strong reaction from Pakistan which downgraded the diplomatic ties between the two nations. India has previously emphasized that rules related to Jammu and Kashmir are their internal affairs.

 INDIAN DIPLOMAT TEARS CHINA OVER THE LAC STANDOFF India took a tactic swipe at China at the UNSC over several issues. India slammed China over "Double standards" in fighting terrorism and unilateral action aimed at changing the status by force and respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of states  Though India's envoy to the UN, Ruchira Kamboj, didn't name any country while participating in the meeting of the UN security council and it was apparent, which country the remarks by the Indian representative were referring to. India, without naming China, Slammed Beijing for the Lac standoff in Ladakh. The Indian side has repeatedly accused China of violating the agreement and protocol on border management by amassing troops along the Lac since early 2020. The standoff has taken bilateral relations to an all-time low in the Decade. India also slammed China for blocking its bid to designate Pak-Based terrorists.

 PAKISTAN PM SHARIF RAISES FOR PERMANENT PEACE WITH INDIA  Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif called for permanent peace with India he added war is not an option for India or Pakistan. He made these remarks during an interaction section with the students of Harvard University, During this interaction, Sharif reiterated Pakistan's resolve to maintain peace in the region  India-Pak ties worsened After the Modi government take out article 370 in august 2019 which gave the region of Jammu and Kashmir a special power and status. Both the countries downgraded their diplomatic ties and suspended bilateral trade. India has repeatedly asked Pak to stop Cross-Border terrorism for talk to resume

 NSA AJIT DOVAL RAISES INDIA'S CONCERN ABOUT RUSSIA- CHINA RELATIONS  Nsa Ajit Doval is on an unannounced visit to Russia for the first time after the Russia-Ukraine war after meeting his counterpart, he met with Russian Deputy PM Denis Manturov. Both sides discussed about the peaceful use of outer space, trade, and economic links. He made clear that India takes Decisions only based on its national interests. INDIA'S FIRST STATEMENT AFTER THE CHINESE SPY SHIPS DOCKING IN SRILANKA

 INDIA'S EXTERNAL AFFAIRS MINISTER JAISHANKAR ON CHINESE SPY SHIP DOCKING IN SRILANKA  India made their first statement after the Chinese spy ship docked at the Sri Lankan port. external affairs minister Jaishankar said that India is closely monitoring the condition, He made this remark at a joint press conference in Bangkok, Thailand. Chinese spy ship Yuan Wang 5 docked at Hambantota port on Tuesday after the diplomatic slowdown The new Srilankan government gave permission to the Chinese spy ship despite the security concern from the U.S and India. As per the Lankan foreign ministry, Yuan Wang 5 was allowed to Dock at Hambantota port after India and the US did not provide any practical reason to reject the entry for the ship. Srilanka has assured India that it won't allow misuse of its Hambantota port by China. The port was taken over by the Chinese government by using the Dept swap for a 99-year lease

MILITANT ATTACK ON INDIAN FORCES IN MYANMAR BORDER

 MILITANTS ATTACK ASSAM RIFLES JAWAN FROM MYANMAR BORDER  Indian troops of Assam rifles were attacked by militants from across the India-Myanmar border in Arunachal Pradesh. An army spokesperson said that an Assam rifles officer was injured in the firing by the militants. The incident took place around 3.15 am at pangsau pass post near the international border According to the army, the insurgents fired on a patrolling team of Assam Rifles near the IB. Changlang Sp told that the suspected member of ULFA(1) and NSCN(K-Ya) were involved in the firing. The militants fired from the Myanmar territory across the border pillar 173. Recently, the ULFA(1) and NSCN(K-Ya) jointly issued a boycott call for the independence day celebrations

RUSSIA DESTROYS UKRAINE'S ARM DEPT IN DONETSK

RUSSIA DESTROYED UKRAINE'S ARM DEPT AND SHOWS OFF "TROPHIES" Russian troops captured the U.S and other foreign-made weapons in the Donetsk region after the intense fight. Russia claimed to destroy a large number of foreign weapon supplies to Ukraine while capturing some parts of the Donetsk region. The Russian defense ministry has termed these destroyed weapons as 'TROPHIES'.Most of the captured weapons are of foreign origin.  Captured weapons include JAvelin, Karl Gustav rocket system as well as machine guns and small arms of soviet origin abandoned by the Ukrainian troops. Footage of weapons seized by the Russian troops was released by its defense ministry. Currently, There is an intense fight going on in the Donetsk region which is under Russian control and Ukraine is fighting hard to take it back. Russia is using multiple rocket launching systems on Ukraine troops to defend its positions.  

PAKISTAN CAN'T AFFORD THE DISCOUNTED WHEAT FROM RUSSIA

 PAKISTAN IN DWINDLING FOREX RESERVE Amid the political and economical instability, debt-laden Pakistan battling a wheat crisis. Russia's final offer for Pak-120000 metric tons of wheat at a price of $399.50 can't be afforded by Pakistan and they want to be reduced by 2.4%. The call to snub Russian wheat was taken at the economic coordination committee meeting. Pak has around 7.7MN metric tons of wheat which will be equal for just 168days of consumption.  However, Pakistan lost the deal as the acceptance deadline was Friday at 6pm Moscow time. Sharif's government has already decided to reduce the wheat strategic reserve requirements. Pak economy is in dire straits, Sharif government is facing a balance of payment crisis. The Pakistan rupee had fallen about 30% against the US dollar in the past years

The laser shall supplement the short-range air defense provided by Israel's iron dome. 90% success rate, The iron dome detects and intercepts incoming missiles and drones.  The weapon will take time to be operational and is expected to be partly funded by the U.S. Israel keeping a tab on the growing threat posed by the Iranian armed drones, as the Iranian-made rockets in the hands of Lebanon's Hezbollah group are also a worry.

CHINA BREATHES FIRE AT TAIWAN AFTER PELOSI'S VISIT Dragon breathes fire military drills begin around Taiwan.Missiles over Taiwan for the first time. Taipei says,' preparing for the war'  Hours after Nancy Pelosi left Taiwan China began its war 'game'. China started its largest-ever military exercise near Taiwan. Chinese military helicopters flew past Pingtan Island, the Closest point to Taiwan in Fujian. As per the Chinese state media, The exercises began at 12pm, Involve "live-firing".Six major areas around the island are selected for this actual combat exercise during this period, which is near the major cities of  Taipei and Kaohsiung. Exercises are taking place in multiple zones around Taiwan and will conclude on Sunday. As per the Chinese media, the drills are taking place within just 20km of the Island's shore.
